I'm from Yorkshire and no absolutely fuck all about Northern Ireland or why we still own it.

Everywhere I look I see many reasons why we should sever ties and pretend that the whole thing never happened, but everyone seems hellbent on keeping it. Is it the Gibraltar of the isles? I'm very confused.
