When Trump came out during that press conference and called out ANTIFA by name, he single-handedly began their demise. Although the media went bat shit crazy it forced them to start talking about this terrorist group. At the time I knew this was a brilliant move. Before Charlottesville, I never heard anyone talk about ANTIFA IRL or in the media (social or otherwise). The only place they were discussed was here on /pol/. By calling them out it created a huge backlash against him but in the same stroke brought these terrorists out of the shadows. They say the light of day is the best disinfectant and now they have been exposed to the light of truth. It took a little bit of time but now even the establishment left is turning against them.
It started with WAPO yesterday and now the crypt keeper Nancy Pelosi has unequivocally condemned them for their violence in Berkley.
If this isn't 9d shoots and ladders I don't know what is. Well done Mr. President and well-done anons of /pol/. Even in the wake of a major natural disaster, this group is getting ever increasing scrutiny.
>“Our democracy has no room for inciting violence or endangering the public, no matter the ideology of those who commit such acts. The violent actions of people calling themselves antifa in Berkeley this weekend deserve unequivocal condemnation, and the perpetrators should be arrested and prosecuted."
