or why it was started to begin with
because i realise these days it's necessary to have welfare so there aren't riots
but what happened for someone to think 'we should give money to poor people for free'
it's maddening to think someone out there - who hates my guts for not being a retard - is living off my money while i had to make my fortune through hard work and making products which people willingly consume
why are we subsidising the existence of people who will one day burn down cities and kill people because they weren't living like kings off my labour

to make degenerates dependent on the state

When there was still a socially cohesive society, it was an insurance for all people to have a source of money if you ever lost your job because of bad luck. It meant people wouldn't starve as they looked for another job and it was very effective and useful in keeping families together.
But now with all the nigs and muds running wild, the left basically took it upon themselves to use this once useful construct to siphon money from the successful to the lazy under the guise of economic equality, which another term for theft. Of course, the left themselves, often coming from a background of squatting and other poor conditions that they volutarily inflicted upon themselves (note: they often come from normal middle-class families), have enjoyed abusing this system themselves and want to keep it. After all, it helps reeling the votes in.
