Once that happens the Chinese and Russians will have to move in to gain a foothold, but so will the Americans and the South Koreans.
NK has always acted as a buffer zone between Western allies and the "Communists" if you like.
Both Russia and China wouldn't want a US proxy state on their doorstep. That's what the entire NK issue is actually about.
Kim Jong Un and his toy missiles are just a minor distraction from the real shit that will unfold once Kim's gone.
