An Honest Question About Race

>dads mother never gave him info about his real father

>3/4s pretty pure white and 1/4 mystery

To clarify, I don't look like I'm toting around any black genes at all. If anything, I suspect that my dad's father was something like Southeastern Asian or perhaps Eastern Russian - but that's mostly speculation. However, it does seem bizarre to me that, as a 1/4th genetic mystery-blood & 3/4ths generic anglo-germanic blend, that I've been so easily approached at times by other Americans and asked, "what [race] are you?"

This is has actually caused a pretty big rift between myself: the individual, and myself: the sociopolitically involved. I’m understood to be and treated as white in most cases; I always fill out white on tests and surveys, I've been randomly called a nazi by progressives, I effectively don't receive any social benefits that come alongside minority status. Still, is it ideologically sane to align myself with WN politics in a world that still frequently asks what I’ve been mixed with? Am I just an Uncle Ruckus? I know this situation is pretty goofy but there is an honest-to-god question of identity crisis that it’d be nice to get some rational perspective on.
