to prove you aren't a blind supporter of gibmedats give one (1) reason why this is true.
Work gives you money
Money gives you opportunities
Opportunities are freedom
Ergo, to be free you must become temporarily unfree at times. Freedom is therefore either a temporary state, aka I'm free for the next 20 minutes, or freedom is an abstract notion that requires discussion, aka I'm a free man in a free country.
>gibs
Literally unfair for the gibs payers, why should you be rewarded for nothing? What have you given back in return? How is this a mutual exchange?

Was unemployed for four months in 2009. It was the only time I ever felt depressed (was given a script for citalopram), and the only time in my life when I ever seriously considered suicide.
Jobs are a source of pride. I can't understand how someone could just lay around all day.....
jokes on you faggots - i unironically believe that works makes you free.
Well typically if you work for something you tend to appreciate it more than someone who has shit handed to them for free.

This. Any time longer 4 days where I don't have work I begin to feel really depressed. Hell, I even limit my vacations to one week at a time because a vacation longer than that starts to become unenjoyable. Men are meant to be productive
Work makes you the slave of your masters.
The company owns you.

I agree to some extent.
Unfortunately wages have stagnated while inflation has gone up.
40k a year used to be damn good money in the 90's. Now it's a fucking joke.
All while the richest people have gotten more and more rich.
Idk what the answer is. But the wage gap between the rich and middle class has gotten a bit out of control.
Idk what the way forward is but we basically live in a system where you either work your ass off for pennies and try to scrape by or give up and live on the dole.
I have a college degree and am currently an engineer and it's still fucking rough. All while the business owner makes billions for his own personal mega yachts.
Idk man. It's tiresome
