I was born to a nice familly, in a small town.
Early in life, I had my brother and many neighbors to learn to navigate the world around me. School was great, new friends, good teachers and a good dose of kid fighting to keep it from being too comfy. Comes highschool, get girlfriend, go to the gym, see yourself at your prime, skip some class to smoke weed but still ace everything. Honestly, I wish it on everyone. Growing up in a white neighborhood was great, though, and my life got a lot better after cutting my parents, and other toxic people, out of my life.

- they're always involved in some productive activity, looks like a family where everyone is out of bed early. I can't remember my parents getting out of bed before 11am on weekends when i was a kid
- no swear words ever. I don't know if this is just for their vlog but it looks like they legit don't swear in that household
- always optimistic about everything
- the wife is not a vain whore, you rarely even see her with makeup on in the videos
- I've literally never seen a non-white appear in any of their videos

I grew up on the edge of a small city/large town and spent my entire childhood exploring the empty fields around it. My parents told me bedtime stories and my mom would walk a mile with me and my younger brother to school because it was only a couple of miles away. I used to play in my sandbox out back and we ate fruit and vegetables from our back yard most meals. Sometimes I went down to a nearby pond to catch frogs and look at turtles.

We would take trips to see their family in Montana at least once a year and we'd fish and stay in the mountains.

When I got a little older, we moved slightly closer to town and I missed my old house. But my parents let me have all my friends over in middle school and high school because it meant we weren't getting into any trouble. We just watched movies and played video games in the basement.

They always encouraged me to do well in school. I did. But when my teachers were dicks or I tried the subject but just didn't like it, they told me it was okay to stop taking it next year. They just wanted me to try hard and be happy.

This is making me so nostalgic it almost hurts. I didn't fully realize how good it was until just now.
