Brazil is side by side with the USA in many conditions. They have a large rich portion of most of South America, they were raised by an European empire, and also had slavery that allowed them to build up their country.
So, given all of this, why is Brazil a poor third world country and not a global empire? It seems all the cards were given to Brazil but they just didn't reach their potential.

The empire falled down on 1889, and we got the same shit we still have today: Oligarchy and a kleptocracy. We need a nationalistic revolution, and we need it now. Break down the brazilian putrid bureaucracy, and put the power in the hands of a single party.
