It's not the fact that a Muslim is forcing a Christian to abide by their religion, because a fundamental Christian would likely do the same to a little Muslim girl. What pisses me off is the outrage that would ensure from the ladder, while the former is praised as an "act of progress." We're supposed to act like this is a logical outcome, or a sort of "just dessert" for white Christians because the French and British settled in the Middle East a Century ago. Nevermind this little girl had nothing to do with it, but since she's white, we should hold her accountable. And they then turn around and wonder why we think they're all terrorists.

I wouldn't go that far, but it is hard to wrap your head around how people think a religion built on conquest, bloodlust, and empire building is somehow peaceful.
