Fellow ANONS,
Can you post shelter locations and maps in Houston.
There are so many new ad-hoc shelters that people need to know about.
I need this because I have a van and will be shuttling people from the front line to the shelters. I am a trained EMT and will provide emergency health care.
City services are all knock out and we are all on our own.
GOD bless you all and President Trump
Bump
Godspeed anon

Remember to check your ceiling in every room if you're not evacuated. We just had to deal with a few new water damage spots. Strong winds knock the shingles off and expose the innards to the weather.
If you spot a water damage spot, check to see if it's a darker color or pretty light. If it's darker, it's older, and may not be relevant if you've had roof fixes in the past. If it's lighter, gently feel it and see if it's cold/damp. If it is, poke a hole in the ceiling with something small like a screwdriver, or a meat thermometer and put a pan or bucket below it.
Worst case scenario, it wasn't what you thought, and you have an easily patched hole in your roof. Best case scenario, you just prevented the ceiling from collapsing.
