He has very valid criticisms of liberalism and modernity. I find myself somewhat sympathetic to his anti-Western sentiment at times. From what I've read, he seems to have a pretty good grasp on history, and is able to coherently forecast a fairly interesting future based on historical trends.

That said, his policy prescriptions aren't that great. Nazbol is a bad meme. "Fourth Political Theory"/Duginism is meek, vague, far too mystical and barely coherent. It seems entirely incapable of motivating real world action (assuming the benefit of a collapse of Liberalism), worse yet, even if it somehow succeeds, I don't think it solves the problems we face.

Perhaps it's a better fit for the future Russian political landscape, I'm nowhere near familiar enough with Russian political and cultural history to make any sort of comment as to what their future politics could/should look like. Regardless, it seems completely useless for those of us in America, Canada, Australia, or Western Europe.
