It means your a real American. As long as you aren't full injun having native blood is pretty cool. The reason why a lot of white Americans claim to have native blood is because during the nativist anti-immigrant movements they would claim they are part Indian therefore making them ethnically American. Of course at a certain level the Indian blood makes you a shitskin (see Mexico)

I have never taken a DNA test but according to family history I'm half Scottish, Norwegian and castizo with a touch of indigenous blood. And my family has been in America since the early 1700s
