Can /pol/ furnish me with an historical example of a US state, local or federal law which stipulates that a person who refers to a male using feminine pronouns, or who refers to a female using masculine pronouns, is on those grounds liable to jailing?

Can /pol/ also acquaint me with the legal theory under which such speech is somehow(!) not protected under the first amendment, and is consequently susceptible to legal sanction?
