With institutions crumbling, global tensions rising and society as we know it seemingly headed for some kind of large-scale calamity, where's the safest place for an individual or family looking for stability and distance from conflict?
Personally, I'm inclined to head South, towards Chile or Argentina. I'm thinking relatively high standard of living and social stability coupled with total lack of geopolitical weight means they're no ones enemy, along with sheer distance from most of the most likely problem zones-- they've got it all.
I know they have their own immigration issues, but from a distance it seems to be the best situated region to ride out the apocalypse.
What do you think, /pol/? Comfiest place to ride out collapse?

Probably Australia or Argentina. Depends if you want Anglo or Latin flavor, and if you want to be annoyed by wino Abbos or wino Native Americas.

I think it's where they're telling all the unpopular billionaires to build their bunkers so when apocalypse comes, the real power players don't have to deal with their shit anymore.
