Hypothesis:
Dumb and fat people without self-control are the descendants of serfs (farmhands, laborers, maids) - they never before were free, were always ruled over by other people (aristocracy, land-owners, merchants) who controlled their lives completely.
Today they are suddenly free to do what they desire themselves,
and fail horribly - because their whole genetic line has evolved
to be order-receivers, slaves, to be ruled over by people with more
IQ and willpower.
Therefore, freeing the serves from being controlled by superior humans
leads to their increased suffering and even disease and early death.

They were, effectively, bred for being workers, not for critical thinking and superior decision-making ability.
I wonder if there is a connection between that and life-outcomes in a free society.
Simple xample:
In the past, their superiors would have prevented them from overeating and becoming so fat that they stopped being useful as workers.
Today, they need self control to do this,
as they have no masters anymore.
SOME PEOPLE CAN'T BE THEIR OWN MASTERS BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT MENTALLY FIT ENOUGH FOR THAT TASK.

I have often wondered the same about poor whites in the south nefore slaves were freed.
They had nothing. No job, no real source of income. Then after industrial revolution and food becoming cheap and social welfare, it created an unnatural state.
