I like how this shit started in Britain, Australia, Germany after it became a thing among the media and Left in this country after the stupid shit in Charlottesville. Makes me realize why so many foreign countries hold the U.S. in such palpable disdain, when we export our nonsense.

Also, the Left's whole line about Confederate statues is "there aren't any Nazi ones in Germany." While there may be no public Hitler statues, Germany does have World War II monuments to their dead. The Left in this country isn't just attacking statues of, say, Jefferson Davis, even just generic soldiers send them into a tizzy. How the fuck is it they got so unhinged that a simple war memorial respecting soldiers that died in a war that ended over 150 years ago is considered controversial? Even a statue on some North Carolina campus of a random soldier that pays tribute to 300+ of its alumni that died during the Civil War is too much for them, same with the Peace Monument in Atlanta that depicts an angel stilling a Confederate soldier's rifle, symbolizing that the war is over and it's time to stop fighting.
