I live in Kosovo and get to travel a lot around the region.

In all honesty, neighboring towns with serbs and macedonians feel like graveyards. The populace is old, no economic growth or development, and have very little remaining populations.

The youth flocks to the cities and possibly migrates, while Albanian populations continuously send money back home and invest in businesses. There is a huge contrast between Albanian towns and neighboring slavs.

I think it will be pretty soon, at least population wise.
