Problems with Antifa, in no order:

They have no idea what they want. Some of them are Communists, some are anarchists, some are socialists, and a whole bunch of them have no real concept of what those ideologies consist of. If they sat down and talked out what they want, after getting through "bash the fash!" they would start killing each other. They are badly miseducated. Go on an antifa board or reddit and watch them try to tell you about socialism without referencing price-setting or government control of industry. To them, it's just gibs. Socialism is gibs, Communism is gibs, anarchism is so fucking stupid they haven't even figured out where the gibs are gonna come from, but they want them. Per the socialist subreddit's own internal poll, the vast majority of them are unemployed single white men between 18 and 24 who live with their parents. Because they don't understand the ideologies they're arguing for, they can't actually argue for them, which leads us to...

They only have one tactic, and they're FUCKING TERRIBLE at it. Did you see all the leftist crying about how armed men showed up for Unite the Right? Wonder about it? It's because they know that in rock rifle piss-bottle, rifle beats rock AND piss-bottle. These are people who are fundamentally opposed to civilian firearm ownership. They know exactly as much about guns as Vice news has taught them. Despite this, their ONLY OPTION is violence, because they don't understand their positions and couldn't agree on one if they did. They unite around the only common ground they can find, which is wanting to be seen as tough. That works as long as the people they're fighting are unarmed normies who didn't know they were coming to a street fight or what the fight's about. It doesn't work so hot on prepared righties. Which brings us to the final point...

Which is that they don't actually want to win. Of course they want to bash the fash, but they know, deep in their hearts, that if it came down to real violence they'd be massacred wholesale. The left glorifies being a victim, a loser. They want to be oppressed by the big bad Nazis so their "struggle" is an underdog story of heroism against all odds. Now, of course, there are practically no Nazis for them to lose against, so they just go with "anyone who isn't with us is one of them." Naturally, since they consist of eight retarded hippies and a ferret, they can't (and don't want to!) win against everyone who isn't them. They want to be martyrs, but they're too scared to get themselves actually martyred, so they do this instead. It's Diet Coke martyrdom. They're "fighting the good fight" and "resisting" but not with an eye towards winning, just with an eye towards getting as much attention as possible for losing. That's why you see them alienate even their potential allies on the not-as-crazy left, it's why they pick fights against huge guys in armor with sticks, it's why they try to fight the police (when the police aren't told to side with them, ahem, Berkeley).

They're cucks. They like to be cucked by mainstream society, they like to think about how bad off they have it and how nobody understands them, MOM, because nobody has CARED THIS MUCH about OPPRESSED PEOPLES.

These are not high-information peoplr we are dealing with here. There is "greater-strategy" as far as having an economic system or rule of governance that they are promoting. Their argument is literally as shallow as "whitr supremacy is bad. Capitalism is bad. Fight fascism."

There is no historical facts, or terms or phrases. None of these crust punks know about the German revolution, or really what fascism is. They also do not care to learn about it either. It's unimportant to the cause, which os essential the arbitrary phrase "Direct Action". Most of these kids live in flop houses and band rehersal spaces. Many don't use the internet outside of Normiebook and Twitter.

Anti-fa was formed in response to fascist movements in the 1920's. A few years later anti-fa was fighting the National Socialist Sturmbeilung in the streets of Berlin.

Anti-fa failed to prevent the rise of fascism and 60+ million White Europeans were killed because of it. When viewed through this lens their penchant for violence towards the "alt-right" makes sense, more so given the fact so much of the alt-right plays around Nazi imagery and ideology.

Remove the Nazi trappings of the alt-right and they are neutered.

History dictates that the rise of Antifa, will induce a rise of true nazism:

Back in 1928, the SPD ruled with 153 seats, with the far right DNVP following at 73. The communist party KPD were a rising star, now with 54 seats - significant gains. Where was the nazi party? 12 seats. Barely even noticeable.

But things are happening nearby that start a trend. The Soviets are gaining power and mass slaughtering political dissenters, starving Ukrainians etc. Meanwhile, the communists in Germany have already been heavily involved in bloodshed of their own. The Spartacus League, the RFB (paramilitary group formed by the leader of the KPD), and the KPD were involved in various battles in the street, the Hamburg uprising and even the civil war in 1918-1919. So there is a certain sourness among moderates towards them, nevermind the right opinion.

1930 elections swing by and there are some gains again. The KPD is at 77 seats - a massive jump, one that should have put them in second place, however there is a new party on the scene. The Nazi party took second with 107 votes. Completely consuming the DDP and the DNVP due to a simple reason - they ran a strict anti-communist platform. So while the rising star of the KPD seemed ready to take control and plunge Germany into the Comintern, the people spoke out against this and fled to join the Nazi party in an effort to stave it off.
