The GOP is always for a weaker and cheaper Federal Government until the benefits need to go to them directly.
The next Democratic President should never declare a Federal Disaster Area in any Red State especially those along the Gulf and deprive them of as much federal money as possible. Let those petulant States pull themselves up by their bootstraps and enjoy the small useless government they've always dreamed of and voted for.
