>How much dislikes a Norwegian thot gets on her coal burning music video gets on state televised news

>Talk of implanting entire populations with computer chips "for convenience".

It's kind of surreal that a concept I thought looked so futuristic back in the late 90s and early 2000s now doesn't seem that far-off. I'm constantly connected to the internet via my pc/smartphone and most of our daily lives revolve around its use. Plus the last month has been chaotic with the systematic censorship happening everywhere and ridiculous arrests that have been going on in some really cucked countries. Last but not least the corporate giants continue to tighten their grip on the world.

So guys, where do we go from here? Are you prepared for this new age?

>>Ever increasing erosion on our personal freedoms by governments, even what we post online is being policed.
No, the difference is the public WILLINGLY DID IT TO THEMSELVES. Facebook and Twitter are the antithesis of the internet as we knew it 10 to 20 years prior where anonymity was the standard. Making the internet more accessible to the dumb masses and offering them social-status "points" for disclosing their own personal lives and personal information through what can be considered the female version of online pornography is the reason it's now so easy to police online discourse through coercion and online lynch-mobbing.

Nobody would be able to repress others into silence if online speech had maintained the prior standard of anonymity being the status quo. Or at the very least everyone continuing to use pseudonyms.

Add to that the consolidation of available venues for discussion and the result is largely self-inflicted by the public itself. It didn't take any regulations for this to take place. It was the result of widespread user error plus the market consolidating into a near monopoly.

The term I like to use is techno-feudalism. The future of our society is seen in places like San Francisco and New York City. Places that are so fucking expensive that everyone lives as atomized individuals in shoebox apartments barely scraping by to survive while the (((elites))) sit up in their ivory skyscrapers. A small band of the jewgle ZOGites surrounded by a sea of atomized nu-males and shitskins placated by gibs to keep the whole thing afloat. Hell, jewgle is even installing their own apartments for their employees. It's full-blown techno-feudalism.
>>
>>139360831
You can't paint the whole picture in terms of the little man getting screwed. The proliferation of smartphones is pissing the powerful off too because everything they do is being recorded and leaked onto social media for the lulz. Also botnets with unencrypted IoT devices will wreak more havoc than before for corporations online.

No, this is the cyber era, not the cyberpunk era, there is no "punk" aspect to it.

What most science fiction conveniently left out is that in societies such as they envisioned it's actually impossible to have those small resistance pockets, living off the grid, earning money outside of the mainstream economic system, doing cool stuff but still somehow escaping the Leviathan, and so on.

It's just boot, face, forever.

The age of Aeries began when Moses created religious/moral law. (the god is the nation (or whoever controls it)), the one who upholds the now sacred law) The age of Pisces began when Jesus became the most successful martyr of all time. (the god is conviction in one's actions) The age of Aquarius began when Kennedy was killed on live television. (the god is the collective perception)

No, you'll see the full extend of the dystopian cyberpunk era in about 33 years. There's still too many people originating from the pre-cyberspace era.
Architecture has to be more dull, the food has to taste less, music has to be more repetitive. Everything needs to be depressing and unrewarding.
It has to numb you. You'll want to escape it.

You'll want to have your senses fully augmented, your body rented out and controlled by an external source in order to be completely immersed in the virtual reality that is so much more entertaining.
You won't be one anymore. You'll be the conciousness of multiple identities and experience each one of them in your virtual world like a grand theatrical play.

Body and mind will be seperated. This world for us, the afterlife for them.

>15 years ago, the thought police you have nowadays would be unthinkable.
Not to anyone that was familiar with how any given forum is run. They're all small models of the college prison study.

You give an opinionated and passionate individual control over a little group of people through some basic tools and they'll enforce their arbitrary rules however they see fit.

Scale said forum up by a few thousand times and you'll still have similar results where the few at the top of the chain will whack-a-mole anyone they don't like.

In the mid-90s the internet was Anonymous because you knew that anyone on the other end of the chat room could be fucking nuts so it wasn't a good idea to give them ammunition to come after you with.

In the early 2000s now suddenly every retard has a Myspace page with their photo, name, and where they live on it and they weren't raised in the early internet so they didn't contemplate that this openness on the internet might have some potential drawbacks.

Internet fame is way more perilous than actual celebrity because you're easy enough to track down, but not important enough that anyone truly cares if someone takes the minimal amount of effort it takes to destroy/harass/inconvenience you.

>4chan is slowly becoming the last true bastion of free speech.

In part because everyone expects corporations to maintain an ideological stance on every issue. Nobody values impartiality. They just want everyone at all times to conform to a nebulous standard, even when they themselves aren't conforming to it.

There's too much public trust in and too much dependency upon these companies to police speech that would previously just have been defended against with more speech.

This generation has been coddled enough that they are unwilling to solve disagreements on their own. Instead they're willing to defer to a surrogate parent, and comfortable with giving that surrogate parent authority over them and their peers.

Thanks school system.

Racism is a made up word. The first to use it in a negative context was the jew Trotsky. Humans are tribal, ethnic groups that act in their own interests. Communism in the 19th and early 20th century was spearheaded by one (((very specifically interested group))) which is now pushing for multiculturalism, diversity, feminism, lower birth rates, LGBBQ rights, and so on, but only in white countries. (((Soros))) is in the same tradition as Adorno and (((Marx))). The people telling us to build bridges and not walls have their own walled ethnostate to retreat to.

The crazy thing about Deus Ex is that it was written by (((Warren Spector))). I doubt he's in any way /ourjew/ in real life, but he surprisingly wrote a very redpilled cyberpunk story.

And on the subject of writers who basically ended up predicting the future, shoutout too William L Pierce and The Turner Diaries. He's basically been predicting every step of events we've seen so far, to the point where you can basically cite the exact page of the book that we're currently at. Highly prophetic

>See the irony?
Your strawmen aren't ironic. Those concepts aren't inherently incompatible either. Both can take place in varying degrees. The offense is in allowing an authority decide in opposition of its population that one culture has value while another does not, and that authority acting on that in a way that's tyrannical.

Assimilation doesn't mean destroying an incoming culture, it means adapting to and meeting the expectations of the host country. If you can't meet those, you can't assimilate. And if you can't assimilate, your culture can only be maintained completely somewhere else.

You CAN maintain cultures as distinct by letting them maintain distinction. This doesn't have to take place by mashing them together by force ( forced multiculturalism) or aiding one in overriding the other. But there are differences between certain cultures that are simply too insurmountable that those two will never be compatible with one another.

Rule of Law for instance is one cultural standard that most of Central America doesn't have. And that's why most of Central America doesn't integrate well in the United States which does value Rule of Law.

On the opposite end you have groups that have way more invasive Rule of Law than is compatible with America. Actual Sharia Law isn't compatible with the culture or the legal structure of the United States and as such will never be able to Assimilate fully here either.

Maybe if you weren't a mental midget you would do your own research and realize that this evolution was not natural but it was artificial and happened directly because of internationalist jews like Trotsky. If you read XIX and early XX century literature you would hardly find any mention of "racism" or if you do it wouldn't be in a negative context.

Having grown up reading 1984, Neuromancer, Snow Crash, and playing a lot of Deus Ex, I feel like I've seen this coming from a mile away.

I work in digital forensics and see how much data smartphones keep, and worse, how dependent on them people are. A lady had to leave her iPhone overnight last week and started physically shaking because she wouldn't be able to play Candy Crush Saga.

Never had a Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or even a Myspace for more than a few weeks in high school, where I quickly wondered what the point was.

I don't even have a smartphone. My flip phone is great, but I wish I still had a landline. Leave me a message and I'll get back to you when I get a chance, not immediately.

We're encouraged to upload our daily activities, interests, photos, GPS coordinates, and associates into not one, but at least three massive public databases every single day. We're force-fed the idea that it's somehow fun to spend hours doing this.

I don't know the source of the quote, but there's a really poignant statement there about Google: "The users aren't the customers, they're the product. The advertisers are the customers."

I'd agree wholeheartedly, but I didn't mention it solely because I read it later in life as an adult versus when I was five or six like I did with 1984, Neuromancer, and Snow Crash. Yep.
I don't think people understand how monumental this is.
We've given over our free-will to a couple unelected business overlords and a few intelligence agency members and in turn they're using it against us in order to shape the way we think.
I highly recommend you guys check out the algorithms google has now where they can quite literally see the future, because their search engine has become an intelligence hivemind.
And they are now prowling on using it to introduce stimuli to change the future public subconscious to their will.
You're seeing it happen already with the total banning of the daily stormer from the internet and the delisting of Jared Taylor videos.
This is because they know if they do this nobody will really lash out and anybody who does they have the power to shut them down.

http://archive.is/g3d6n
We elected a president because the A.I. wasn't advanced enough and didn't pinpoint to individual states and counties like the electoral college does.
he didn't when the popular vote solely because of googles algorithms blacklisting anything pro-trump.
And now it's getting worse.
Read the CNET article I just linked.

They LITERALLY view this search engine like a god, capitalizing the word "search" and "it" and what-not.

It's horrifying but they're openly admitting they now have the technology to predict the future.
And they're enacting on it right now.

We're their slaves now. And there's next to nothing we can do about it.
Any awareness we raise they have the power to squash and censor and nobody will care.
They, like the catholic priests pre-reformation, have a monopoly on the truth.
Only difference is a resistance against them won't work because they literally have a monopoly on our reality and free-will.

We're forced to live in their world and operate by their rules and there is no end in sight.
It's a digital nation which is larger than the entire globe, outside of any laws and jurisdiction besides their own whim.

I'm thinking a network trillions of thinner-than-hair fibers that pierce the brain in all centers to not only detect but also send/manage signals, all connected to a port somewhere on the head. External programs that use this sort of input would have to be trained on a user by user basis though, maybe showing or making people visualize certain shapes, making them move specific ways, and exposing them to different physical stimuli. Suspension of external reality and external output would be an interesting hurdle, though.

Proof we have entered into Cyberpunk

- Asian MegaCorporations, who are all owned by the government dictate foreign policy and trade policy
- Private Military Corporations fight wars
- Governments are largely bankrupt and provide limited service / protection to tax payers; govt is largely staffed by Corporate Interests

- Music is all digital
- Artificial intelligence dominates decisions and AI based programs are closer relations for normies then their own family / friends

- Swarm intelligence and internet based nation without borders are forming
- Copycat crimes and cults of personality around e-celebs are accepted
- Digitial currencies based on digital productivity
- Digital jobs (sex chats, paetrons, streams )
- Smart weapons & Drones
- Cyber crime is rampant and affecting physical world decisions / investments
- Governments are making cyber divisions and cyber weapons

Just think about it, their goal is to create the Caliphate, it is an attempt to reunify the decayed and dissolving Muslim world. As William Blake understood, Abstract Morality blinds us, it forces a kind of Iconoclasm where things that don't fall within the boundaries of its systematic worldview must be removed. This is the Puritanism, seeking pure, abstract morality (Freedom/Equality), hence when the Puritans burned and destroyed imagery and art of the West, just as ISIS destroys art that does not fall within its abstract moral system, the modern day Puritans have been secularized, they are called Liberal Progressives, they violently protest gender specific bathrooms, the Confederate flag and so on; the modern day Islam is the gradual Nihilistic dissolving away of Muslim Culture through the extreme abstract moralizing, they can remove no more, they have eliminated and dissolved to its limit. One day the Progressive, as I call them, "Progress Zealot" will reach the same level of desperate intensity of the conclusions of their abstract moral principles. The difference between Liberal Progressives and ISIS is time.

Okay then: What you're proposing is first and foremost completely impossible with the technology of today. Second, it'd still be in an incredibly expensive, risky, and complex procedure even if it was which means it'd never reach normal consumers.

Third: it's completely physically impossible to do it that way. You could perhaps get away with combination optic nerve, spinal cord and cochlear interfaces and even then it'll only ever be useful for crippled people to regain sense and/or mobility.

This is mainly what I had in mind originally, though, VR and AR are side effects and possible branches of it, and possibly much more difficult to develop vs just prosthetics.

Though in terms of prosthetics, it'd probably be a better idea to have a similar system embedded on a more limb-based muscular side of things.

That's assuming the limbs or the spinal cord is still actually.

Anyway, microfilament electrodes connecting to every neuron in the brain is an idea you might as well forget. If you're going speculative with bizarro-tech, then some crazy gene therapy that creates some form of convenient cellular interface seems more plausible. Responsivity to collimated EM radiation of a suitable wavelength maybe?

It's a pretty complex topic for /pol thread anon, you can download all the resources for free, but reinstall an OS on mobile can permanently brick it, and there is no going back (usually). I recommend doing a lot of reading, also what works on one phone model may not work on another, and if you know a programmer or HW expert ask for help.
>>
>>139385497
Not every electrode, definitely not. There will always be margin for error with a literal human developed interpretation of input without every neuron linked up to this network, and as such, we could train an external neural network with inputs to get the desired output, which is in a way what I suggested in an earlier post.
