So leafs, are you ready for the great illegal migration to Canada?

>70,000 Haitians lose protected status in the US come early next year; more than 7,000 have fled to Quebec illegally, more are transiting the US now
>more than 380,000 central americans will also lose status in 2018, meaning more will go to Canada
>talk of trump ending status for 600,000 dreamers, which will mean they and their parents will be looking for more hospitable ground...to the north

>cross into Canada illegally
>get put up in a heated tent and then they bus you to apply for asylum
>once asylum application is in, government gives you a free bus pass (unlimited monthly), $900/person/month for rent and nearly $2000/person/once to buy clothing and furniture
>initial hearing deadline is 5-7 months and getting longer, time to deal with all asylum claims is estimated to be 11 years
>plenty of time to plea hardship, particularly if you drop an anchor baby, and you can appeal the decision in the interim if denied

Maybe Trump will just forget about the wall and build an overpass from Mexico to Canada....
