>easily manipulated by bots
>blue checkmark = perceived authority on topic, can appear as more trustworthy even if verified for being a pornstar
>people with more followers get driven up trending regardless of quality
>everything is tailored to getting likes (what memes to use, hashtags to implement, etc.)
>recircuits your brain to think in 140 characters or less formulated to drive "likes" vs. an articulate, rational argument
If you look at Trump tweet replies, they are from the same 10 people seconds after meaning these people either have bots tweeting for them or are literally refreshing the page on Twitter which is more likely because a lot of them are topical to what he says. From there, the tweets are continously liked (bots?) and the same tweeter replies 6 times to drive it up the replies. It relates to my next point that Twitter changes how people react to things.

There is no blue check mark. It's white.
I did something different last night, an experiment, in hopes of getting likes by live tweeting Mayweather fight and seeing what goes viral. My only goal was to go viral or, in this case, get 100 likes. what played out was an obsession with getting the "perfect meme" fast and with the right hashtags. it was mentally exhausting and goes to show how self-absorbed and mentally unstable frequent tweeters have to be. it fried my brain and was a shit show. people were tweeting pictures/memes seconds after something was shown tv meaning they had those planned or are insanely knowledgeable of what goes viral and can think of it immediately. I gave up because of how pointless it was but one my tweets actually got copied word for word by a well known sports account and was sent up to the top of trending. I don't give a shit, most weren't that funny, but just seeing these huge twitter accounts just going viral with mediocre tweets 5 min after the event happened is concerning for how were being programmed. Clearly what ever these accounts say are appealing to the wider audience but their ability to amass likes so quickly and silence others is crazy. They have effectively driven out other opinions and/or steal their content which is later buried. They have a stronghold on what the public sees and opinions are validated by other users/bots (likes) to make it appear it is popular.

FaceCuck, no doubt. It causes everyone (especially women) to seek to align their opinions, actions, and even thoughts with what they *perceive* will get them the most social credit. It's like high school on steroids spread across the entire globe at all times, forever. It is the cancer of cancers.
