It may get the site in question flagged. For a while, clickbait companies would do shit as stupid as stacking ads on top of one another, so if you happened to click on the "top" one, all of the ads stacked in the canvas would register a click. It'd lead to 4x the revenue.

Google can figure that out fairly quickly. They get REALLY angry about that sort of thing, because they promise advertisers their ads will be shown separately and only for certain demographic segments (think 50k/year, lives in Washington, etc) and in some cases "loads before all other ads". Fucking with any of those promises makes Google look terrible.

Are you using the script? It just requests a new page before the addon has time to click all the ads. It wasn't intended to be used this way, but it inadvertently makes it more difficult for Google to determine that your clicks are corrupted which means it'll go undetected for longer.

Yes, it's saying that you're costing a lot of money but that's not normal browsing - 4 clicks in a minute are doable and pretty viable for the average person, but 100 clicks in a minute, all from the same IP? Google will catch onto that pretty fucking quickly... just my 2 cents. I'm not against using that script but surely Google will notice some automation fuckery is going on. By all means, if you have a computer strong enough to run that script for hours, do so.
For the people with slower computers that still want to participate:
Just let it click the ads as you read news articles and watch videos on Youtube. Tone it down a bit, too - no normal person clicks on every single ad he sees. Yes, you'll be doing "damage", but just at a lower speed that actually seems plausible.
