Even re-equipping the German army to help would have been a struggle, considering the logistics it took to transfer supplies and fuel from the US to Europe.

They didn't, though. Since 1945 there have been 36 Congresses of the United States. Democrats have had complte control of 23, controlling the House and Senate.There have been only nine congresses where the Republicans held control of both Houses of Congress. There have been twelve presidents with a dead even split of Democrats and Republicans for six each. Before Trump, the Democrats held the lead six to five. Ther state of the country is aurguably because f the Democrats because they held power longer. And the WWII G.I.s came back and voted for democrats in droves. So this cartoon is revisionist crap.

3) Not at all. Where was the push towards mass immigration before the close of the Second World War? It would have been utterly intolerable to the people of those days. All but Northern European immigrants were outright excluded from America until the 20th century.
