All of these are true. Yes, the show is left-wing degeneracy incarnate. Having said that, a few episodes are very amazing and worth watching. The show may be pretty tumblr-y but it's not so in your face like most left wing shows. Except San Junipero, that's pretty in your face about it but that's the only one.
