It's funny because they do. Memes in broad sense are not just funny pictures on the internet. They are mind viruses that stay in subconscious and influence people's perception. Liberals have all those memes like "progress", "right side of history", introducing new terms and forcing people to use them, redefining existing words to better fit their agenda. Even the things that right was duped into using like "Social Justice Warrior" meme is loaded with positive meaning, while right is always successfully being painted as nazis that want to kill everyone. Meanwhile the right has a poorly drawn cartoon frog and pretends to be winning the war of minds.

That only works within their own circles, the majority of their best memes are just to cement loyalty to the cult of Social Justice. No matter how many times they try to redefine racism, misogyny, bigotry, and homophobia, the rest of society already has a set definition for these words. Racism isn't disagreeing with someone who is brown, misogyny isn't pointing out the difference of the sexes, and you are not a bigot if you don't want to date a trans person. These new definitions only further push these groups 'victimhood status', further strengthening their need for support from the cult of Social Justice, while alienating nonmembers.
