I did for 16 months. It's degenerate and you end up not realizing how negatively it's affecting you. One positive I can give it is that you see how fake everything around you really is. I smoked (daily) for ~18 years and only recently stopped (kinda)

I got busy with work, family etc. and hadn't really had time before 10/11 to blaze and was on a project with majority European counterparts and got tired of feeling tired in the early morning 6/7am when we would have our project updates and so it went from a couple weeks to a couple months and I just haven't been smoking anymore.

I haven't any real difference in motivation, work productivity or mood either -- kind of funny I'm still just a condescending autistic jerk.

Go figure.

Have a fantasy football draft party tomorrow though and am bringing the FUEGO also went on vacation in Jamaica a couple weeks ago and smoked a little but didn't feel like doing it much and did t care when I got back stateside

I smoke weed every single day, I hit the bong about once an hour and spend 100 euros every 5-6 days buying new weed. Every morning when I wake up I have a hangover, can't hit the bong the first few times without throwing up (with nothing coming out) and heavily coughing waking everyone up.

I have had only one period where I was able to successfully stop using weed for longer than 4 months. In the last 6 years I have not been able to stop smoking weed for longer than that. I have been using and abusing cocaine and heroin and don't nearly have much trouble stopping using those kind of drugs.

Weed doesn't help me in any way and little by little it's only making things worse.

Like all vices how detrimental it is to your life depends on how you manage it. There was a time in college when I was smoking like 4 or 5 times a day and it got in the way of my studies. On the other hand when I learned to manage it and smoked once a day after my work was done I had no issues.

It should definitely be legalized. Its sale accounts for about half of all the profits made on the American black market (including all drugs, all pirated goods, prostitution and anything else that's illegal). Legalizing it would reduce the net profits of the criminal economy by half and would thus reduce the number of criminal drastically since ultimately most people who break the law do so for profit. The violence and crime that it produces as an illegal substance are clearly far more detrimental than the effects it would produce as a legal substance.

The only substances worth doing are physchedelics and the occasional marijuana. I have to watch my self when it comes to pot though I've gotten sick several times from being too high.

Smoked for a few years during my teens. Overall, it was a very bittersweet drug for me. Some of my best and worst times were had on it, I mostly just smoked too much and used it as a crutch because I had nothing better going on in my life. Had I abstained more and lived a more balanced life while I was smoking, I might still be doing it today. I have nothing against people using it but it can definitely turn you into a burnout if you're not careful.
