Claypool is fucking sick. I saw Frog Brigade once at Nation in DC and they were covering Pink Floyd Animals. Ridiculous.

Saw him another time at Merriweather Post and he played the whole set with a full white jumpsuit and a miner's light on his head.

Claypool is part of the reason I picked up the bass. So many of his basslines are relatively simple, but are fun as fuck to play. Rumble of the Diesel is fantastic. Power Mad is another fun one to play as well. After him, I moved onto looking into Mr. Bungle, King Crimson, couple funk bands. I don't think Claypool is necessarily "red pilled", he made a song called Red State girl which kind of bashes the right a bit, but he's not an outspoken faggot about politics really.
