I think her books should be read in order.
Ayn was wrong about some things for sure, but 80% of her ideas are brilliant. Critics don't understand self interest, or think she's libertarian. She redpilled me.
Her fiction isn't George rr Martin quality by any strech. it's a framework for her philosophy written by a non native English speaker. Her anti tribalist anti nationalist views, though in my opinion wrong,are inevitable considering what was going on in world, her background,and race. Most people in ussr during revolution with her backstory died or we're lost to the machine. She escaped and lived the rest of her life as one great scream of self affirmation against socialism/religion.
