Try arguing with a millennial girl about how minimum wage increases increase unemployment rates and watch their heads explode. Some of them cannot comprehend such basic economics because they think because their parents paid for everything they live in a world without scarcity.

yes but it's not entirely their fault, I was raised to respect the words of the eldest in our family, they had time honored wisdom like if you married another poor person you were chastised for not needing any help being broke and the only thing worth borrowing money for was land

so I was unable to be brainwashed entirely by Spinoza style schooling

>Hard to accept going from middle class to poor doing the same job as your parents senpai

our parents had to adapt to an ever evolving work marketplace as well, when regular work was shit they sold drugs or informed on people

Or just any girl for that matter. Women don't think, they feel.
As far as they're concerned, good feelings that result from the prospect increased minimum wages will always outweigh the reality of having less purchasing power as a consequence of the higher minimum wage.
The only thing that seems to wake them up from this lunacy is having children.

I wouldn't mind it if they were doing it in bullion for their retirement, but that's not what they're doing.
They're using the homes as bullion.
At their old age they'll never get a mortgage, so once they all start liquidating their house they'll find the market crashes.
Meanwhile everyone's using a currency of which the sheer creation represents debt, let alone the actual currency.

I hope I understand economics very poorly.

It is retarded how millenials view money in the uk, as soon as they are paid they look to spend it.
I know dozens of people who take like 3 or 4 holidays abroad a year despite being on a shitty wage. Same here. All sorts of people, muslims and women are constantly yapping on about their oh so glorious holiday or backpacking tour through some country, while complaining they can't afford to service their car.
Meanwhile I'm sitting on €15k for no reason other than living frugally, and spending big in short bursts to ensure I only have to spend it once on a product.
Conputers for instance, people buy macs and replace them year after year. They try flogging the old one off but a couple hundred duyten lost every year isn't ideal.
Meanwhile I spent $1,5k on computer components and built one myself, which is still going strong and does everything I want it to 5 years later. Arguably, another 5 years down the road too if I stick a new GPU in there.

I don't know what it is. Maybe because I wanted all the consoles when I was a kid and had to learn to budget, prioritise frugality and research all the products so I could choose wisely. Even went as far as checking the availability of modchips to see how many games could be downloaded and burned on discs.
That would be like researching all the airlines, all the aircraft and calculating for yourself which one is the best at any given price and time spent depending on the service and leg room.
I know nobody who does that. "Just buy all the things, there's more money next month!"

Such a waste.

On the topic of computers, I've recently been convinced to explore crypto coin mining, or rather selling processing power as part of a pool of miners. Anything of seriously value is being phased out of ownership and being replaced with debt or renting.

70 years ago a house could be paid off in 5 years of work at a blue collar job. Now a house is 30 years of work at a blue collar job. 70 years ago a university education could be paid for with a summer job (in fact that's exactly what my great grandfather did), now it takes up to 10 years after receiving your diploma. A new car 70 years ago could be paid off in a year. Now a new car is a 5-10 year investment.

Faced with those odds, to avoid bankruptcy should something go wrong, most are shuffled out of ownership and towards rent, leaving them even worse off than ever. Real wages have stagnated, and costs of the most valuable things have inflated massively due to the availability of loan capital. Millenials don't understand why that happened however, they just think that they are getting screwed by their boss, which is not the case: they are getting screwed by interest tithes paid to financial capitalists.

No intelligent person who doesn't also have some kind of massive personality issue can possibly believe in liberalism. It's the ideology of retards, which is why pretty much every nigger, spic, kike, chink, gook, wagon-burner, and towel-head is a fucking liberal.

And I don't spend a single cent on my self, last time I splurged on myself I bought 12 dollars worth of liquor. I spend my money on bills, gas, and food then save my money for my wife and me for us to have white children.

Last time I bought an article of clothing was 6 months ago and they were 3 dollar socks. I have one shirt, one pair of shorts, one pair of khaki's, and a button up. Three shoes, I know I must be spoiled right? >>
>>138988276
basically my view on things

50% of the cost of a house here is the land

the average mortgage term is 35 years and the for a normal family home outside of london (min £200,000) it would take the entire AVERAGE wage worker about 10 entire years of income to pay off - that's without them having rent, food or other taxes.

at the average wage of around £26k, income tax is about £6k, rent (shared appt) is about £5k, food (miserly, home cooked) is £1k, council tax is £1k, monthly bills (insurance + gas + electric + internet) are £2k, transport is around £1k by public transport

leaving you with about £8k per year of disposable/saveable income

so it's still going to take you 25 years to save up just the base amount for your mortgage, if you live like a total miser and somehow have a £26k job after school
