I have the capital to produce about 10 at a time, only costs around 15k to make if you do it yourself.

I'm really disturbed by the massive amount of debt people go into with 30 year mortgages and am thinking of trying to make housing more affordable for groups of people who don't need as large a place.

I can't really think of a way I am more suited to help the alt-right than to produce cheap housing for them. I'm not good at a lot else other than construction.

Probably not. The biggest issue you face is the conveniences of the city - public transportation, night life, better food, proximity to work, etc.

Where are these houses geographically?
What are the viable modes of transportation?
Is an RV or a mobile home a better investment?

Personally, I'd rather live in my ~$750 studio in a decent, not-downtown part of the city which is about the same size, from what I can tell, because of the city conveniences. I'd be willing to put down $1,200 on a mortgage for more space, but more and more people are willing to put down that kind of money just to rent a room in the city.

The problem is that getting the necessary licensing/permitting in cities is a pain in the ass and really expensive. Space is limited and thus more expensive. You would have to charge a bare minimum of $600-$700 if you wanted any hope of making a profit where I live and you were lucky enough to snag a space.

I'd say in general buying a house like that would be a good real estate investment, but in terms of liveable property value (schools, community value, etc.) it won't be worth much. I wouldn't buy it because I have no desire to play the real estate game but others may very well do so for that purpose.
