GLobalism only works for people who are at the same socioeconomic level, who has knowledge of special skills or resources that everyone else wants. Naturally this group of people is not going to be huge, so the others who have no desirable skills or resources will whine about how they are not getting a fair share, how the smarter people are screwing them over. Once you open up all markets to deregulated markets then the other markets need to keep deregulating until you're getting paid the same as the Afghanistani farmer or the Chinese software developer. As it stands now you have a competitive advantage over other nations because your white ancestors entered into unions and demanded some respect before the law. Other countries didn't do that, or were unsuccessful, and now you are forced to compete with them.

Also the plan of mass immigration isn't very smart with rising automation. It's fine to bring in high IQ immigrants but the majority are low IQ low skill labor.
