You are right, I was more talking in the context of interpersonal relationships with known individuals/groups of friends/parties, but I agree, the standard is different regarding "neutral" public areas.

The biggest commonality that they have in my eyes is "we hate this system as it exists today and it must be destroyed so that we can build something new," they just don't agree on what should be built afterward, like they're both looking for a ride to the same neighborhood but one is going to KFC and the other is going to Wendy's so they refuse to ride in the same car and decide to fight each other in the street instead of going anywhere at all.
