Instant Gratification has a lot to do with it. Anything that requires work and a bit of time is foreign to them.
Another issue is that it is far easier to destroy then it is to create. Anyone can look at something and see flaws, but to actually come up with a solution requires time, money, and smarts.
As much as they try and brag about their "superior intelligence" compared to conservatives, they are the ones that lack logic and only act on emotion. They get angry and chimp out. When someone tells them that something will take time they flip their shit.
Hell if we all sat down and openly talked about factual problems with different races then we might start developing ways to treat them. But no. They see a statement on race and they want immediate instant gratification. So they shout racism and tweet something out and call it a day while patting themselves on the back.
