Got to the top of Rainier a couple of years ago. Probably the most physically exhausting thing I've ever done, and they altitude hit me hard. Still too many fucking people.

Backpack into Mount McKinley, that alone takes 3 weeks. Then climb the bitch from the opposite side most people do.

i had the same attitude about climbing about 2 years ago and the only way to change it is to just go and hope for the best. The first time was fucking shit but you learn a lot and you cant give up. And eventually over time it becomes way more enjoyable and definitely the highlight of my life so far.
