Problem is that my last girlfriend was beyond solid, inside and out. I KNOW that in order to really get over, the next one will have to be as good as her. Not replacing her, I don't care if they have different skills and hobbies.

It's just hard when your last girlfriend would wake up 15 min. before you do to help make your lunch for the day because you forgot to make it last night, you know?

Yeah, our last relationship we planned out how many kids would we have, where they'd go to school and what their name would be. When we'd get married, who'd get invited, etc.

I really authentically felt like I experienced Hell when it ended, like I must have woke up in Hell, after dying in a drunk driving accident and killing someone or something.


Anyway point is, is that it was really unconditional intense love with her. I really don't think it'll be a 'where have you been all my life' moment with the next one, just to fall in love again and hope to god equal the love I had last time.

I'm wondering if THAT'S possible. To go from intense yet honest love to another intense yet honest love

Nope. After my heartbreak I can feel that my entire character has been re-wired, for the better. Nothing gave me a sense of urgency to improve than the breakup. I've done bad in class where I had to Withdraw from the term and take it again later and etc. etc - nothing is like it. I could probably drive drunk tonight and not learn a lesson at a faster rate than a heartbreak
