My Mother lived in Poland during comunist era

there is even saying in Polish wich means that no matter what you do you will recive your payment. Becouse, people were forced to have a job most of them were just drinking alcohol and being lazy.

To buy toilet paper you had to stand in que for 4 hours. There were shortages is shops so if there was something new in shop u were buying it to save it for later, becouse there may be use for this.

Most of people didn`t have a cars, only the rich ones.
