In order to have a group that can act politically, you must offer more than than the public good for which the group was formed in the first place. People must be able to get value from the group, and so it must offer some services that can only be attained if one joins it. Since there's many people that are atomized, have bad nutrition, bad life habit, bad fitness and have more or less been culturally excluded from the west as it is today, I'm guessing an organization designed around providing valuable services in these area wouldn't fare too badly, provided it wasn't a for profit organization and could keep costs relatively low.

Break isolation, better yourself, learn positive stuff about your roots, feel the positive effects of being part of a group whose member share a struggle similar to your own.
