Saw it. Spent too long fiddling with my phone trying to get a good picture, so I never really took enough time to fully take it in. Looked at it for 30 seconds or so.
Same sense of peace, like everyone in the US had something in common for a brief moment.

Too many clouds. Well it's not like it's the only eclipse of my life.
i like it
Yeah it was really nice desu. I was in a park with a bunch of blue collar/southern rednecks and they were all really nice and had funny bantz. It was very peaceful. It was a mystic moment during the full eclipse; until machine gun fire and hand gun fire filled the air from the neighboring ghettos. Everyone thought it was fire works lmao but 7.62 is very recognizable.

It was wondrous. Most beautiful and surreal thing I have ever seen. I pity anyone who was working or not closeby enough to a totality region to see it.
Knowing that I will probably never see that ever again makes me sad (the next one I think is just a non totality).

Despite the shit conditions I experienced today, too cloudy, it was pretty awesome. It went dark for two and a half minutes. All of the sudden, it became bright again.
Also, after the eclipse, a circular rainbow formed overhead with the sun in the middle. Good omen?

In the dark of the totality I felt I could faintly hear someone singing "Ob's stĂĽrmt oder schneit, ob die Sonne uns lacht" for a moment. Then red and white rays eminated from the center of the eclipse and I could hear "Ein Volk! Ein Reich! Ein FĂĽhrer!" as if it were being shouted by thousands of distant people. I felt like I listened for hours as a previously small, droning, background sound of millions of boots marching in step became louder, clearer, and eventually a deafening roar.
I began to then hear random oompah music, got dizzy and blacked out. When I came to I heard a man with a distinctive lisp wearing nothing but a "NASA" speedo with a rocket at his crotch and bright pink star shaped sunglasses shrieking at me. He told me I was doing "fabulous" and to just keep taking it easy. I was told I had taken a really nasty fall about 2 seconds after taking off my sunglasses to view the total eclipse. Guys, I was there. For a brief moment I was in the timeline where Hitler won. It was beautiful and glorious.

Right in the path. Clouds wouldn't have mattered unless you wanted to see the corona. The real trip was the lighting, if you noticed it.
It's exactly like wearing transition lenses. Everything is naturally darker, but the hue and angle is the same as natural daylight.

Same reaction. If you believe in astrology, the eclipse was in Leo which signifies love, children, heart/soul. With other aspects one astrologer said it was a prompt to find what brings joy. Community, truth, passion were key themes. Time to act, rearrange your life, tear down what isn't honest, listen to your truth. Acknowledge your need for joy in life and find others whom you can connect with on that matter.
