After awhile the gas and rocks cooled and gravity drew them together, forming the planets as well as our moon. The moon is part of the same materials as our earth's core, both are basically iron. But due to the moon having no atmosphere and low gravity, it's crust and mantel are made of different things. Essentially the earth and the moon are the same object.

Saturns rings are excesse debris that is inside the limit of Saturn's tidal forces. I.e. Saturn's gravity is stronger than the gravitational force of any satellites that could form at that distance therefore no large bodies can form among the rings.

It's too big, it's too fast, it's made out of weird stuff with a metal core that rings like a bell, and so on. There is no widely accepted theory on the origin of our moon- we constantly create new theoretical models for the moon's origin because each model always has some hole in it. The most likely truth is that the moon was created through a rare coincidence of a multi-impact scenario or the like.
