That rate of growth over such a short period can only be explained by the influence of /pol/. There is no reason to expect that other boards would have suddenly (and without explanation) grown at such a rate during this period. This point also partly responds to >>138447702. It suffices to say that more and more people are coming to a place like 4chan, and more specifically /pol/, as an alternative to following the mainstream narrative.
