Sexuality has some blurry parts but gender can't be a social construct and a spectrum.
If it's a spectrum, it loses its function as separation of roles defined biologically by sex and what they do (for the same reason you can't be genetically a man and claim to be a woman and fulfill their reproductive role since you lack the genetic material and organs).
If it's a social construct, it's purely as an ease of language and separation and only has use as a binary element.

I would like to add the "gender spectrum" is created based on fixed gender roles. In order to define a non-feminine behavior you need a feminine standard. So "masculine women" are women that want to get out of the kitchen. Gender spectrum requires a very conservative stance regarding gender roles, once you accept that a woman is not less of a woman because she likes to play football or dress practically the need for a gender spectrum as a concept disappears.
It's the same for "transgender" kids. In order to diagnose one you need a very specific set of rules regarding what kids of each sex should behave like. Once you accept boys can be a bit faggy and that's ok there is no more "transgender children".
