Some people at this point will take the black pill.
This is the goal of the world powers.
All they want is people giving up their volition.
They want us all slickly integrated into the machine, cogs and gears, all plowing toward their eventual goal.
They want us all behind phones and screens, ignoring one another while pretending to pay attention to one another.
They want us all imbibing fantasy and pretense while we sit still and let the life run out of us.
Consequential people are dangerous people.
Consequential people, by definition, are not controlled.
Controlled people are inconsequential.
Their consequence belongs to those above them.
They get no say in history.
They must even give up say in the life of the next generation.
And those who have taken the black pill or no pill at all blithely accept it, because it is all they have ever known.

Just like every great empire, our rulers believe they are the drivers of history.
They fancy themselves gods, and by the way they run the lives of billions, it’s hard to argue.
Nonetheless, they are quite vulnerable.
They depend on us doing the expected.
They have a tremendous grasp on the expected, and more than able to move groups of people in predictable ways.
This capacity grows every day along with advancements in information technology.
If current trends continue, it will not be long before they will be able to know almost anything about anywhere with a substantial number of people in real time using technology.
If we reach that point, resistance will be nearly impossible without the proper tactics.
Even using the proper tactics, resistance will only succeed through men and women giving their lives over completely to the causes of liberty, justice, and the virtuous society.
Any halfhearted attempts will inevitably fail.
After all, the people working toward the death of most of humanity are doing so with their entire minds, hearts, souls, and wills.
They can think of nothing else and pour everything they have into their own designs.
This is how they have managed to get so much done in the last thirty years.
They must be met with the same level of force that they bring to the fight.
Nothing less will ever matter.

Foundationally, our culture is built in the wreckage of the many religious and philosophical upheavals of the 16th century.
In turn, that culture was as a result of the Great Schism at the end of the first millennium.
And on back history marches, to a profound turning point.
The most important thing that ever happened, the thing that would set the course of world history forever thereafter, happened in Jerusalem in Roman Palestine, to a man who never wrote down a word.
His followers’ insistence that this man rose from the dead somehow created the necessary and sufficient conditions for Eastern and Western thought to merge.
The thought-world and the people who engendered it would transform pagan Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East into much better places to live for the average people there, all without the sanction or even approval of local leaders.
In fact, the most appreciable decline in Christianity began precisely when the those leaders were consulted, entreated, and eventually converted.

No one can blame anyone for finding the most visible and powerful representations of Christianity in the west ridiculous or unhinged or benignly feeble at best.
Since the world powers and Jesus’ worldly representatives started their parlay, the transformative power of the church has been slowly ebbing away.
It has been replaced by acquiescence and support of the world powers, at least up until the last century or so.
In the last century or so, the church has been pressed deeper and deeper into compromise.
Where the church has refused to compromise, the world powers have driven culture to despise and ridicule the church in its backwardness.
Those aiming toward death for most people cannot go on keeping company with anyone who even talks a little bit about salvation for people.
Even though most people have been theologically deceived into believe that salvation is not equivalent to a quiet revolution, even the whiff of such a possibility must be blown away with out-and-out antichrist propaganda the likes of which we have been exposed to our entire lives.
They are not producing this propaganda because they have a philosophical problem with Jesus.
They are producing this propaganda because they are scared people might actually start taking Jesus seriously.

But OK, giving ultimate power to the church, if I follow you right, would only transfer dominion over our lives to another elite

People have been taking Jesus seriously ever since Easter.
The thing is, the people who really go full-tilt with discipleship tend not to fit neatly into mass society.
It’s that death-dealing versus life-giving problem.
(What fellowship does light have with darkness, or what share does God have with Belial?)
The problem in USAmerica today belongs to all of us.
We are all responsible.
By our death-dealing lifestyles, we enable the world powers’ omnicidal campaign.
If you wonder why politicians never change anything for the better, it is because people are not changing for the better.
Much of that stems from society not being a place that readily allows people to grow and flourish into their whole potential.
In order to reach these potentials, we must make space for healing.
We will never heal drowning in poison.

If we are responsible for everything, then we are theoretically able to change everything.
The problem is one of imagination.
People do not understand how to think in novel ways anymore.
Anyone taking a passing glance at the flood of rehashes and sequels glutting the media landscape should be concerned that there’s a concerted effort to trap us in some perpetual nostalgia while the world flies by unhindered.
But it doesn’t have to be this way.
(Do not be conformed to the image of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.)
If you understand esotericism, then you understand that perception shapes reality just like reality shapes perception.
Perception shapes thinking.
Thinking shapes choices.
Choices shape actions.
Action shape history.
But how can we avoid falling into the same traps they have been springing on us over and over and over?
How can we kill off the old man and be recreated?
How can anything new ever come about?

For the sake of argument, let’s call it Radical Localism.
World politics is a ruse.
All that really matters is where you are.
The world powers wants you to stay indoors worrying about the entire world rather than out in your neighborhood worrying about your neighbors.
Moving in one layer deeper, you should couple Radical Localism with radical thematic fidelity to the first Christian believers and their King.
They, after all, overturn the whole world without lifting a single stick.
They never needed to do anything other than support one another, protect one another, and cultivate a good reputation in their local areas.
Jesus’ teachings showed them how to subvert the world system.
The world system relies on fear, but Jesus says that you should not fear the one who kills the body but fear the one who can throw both the body and soul into the fire.
The world system pretends scarcity, but Jesus says that if you seek his Kingdom first all you need will be given to you.
The world system says you are a slave to death, and you only choices are how to bide the time whereas Jesus says that you can be a slave to righteousness and a family-member of God Almighty.
But none of this matters outside community and fidelity.
Without a practicing Body full of practicing bodies, it is all just so much rhetoric.

The only thing that has a chance of saving us is a Radical Localist approach based on successful historical Christian models.
Today’s Anabaptists are the fastest-growing religion in the United States and clearly successful as a people group who have limited contact with the corrupt aspects of Western culture.
They cultivate strong families, vibrant communities, and a society of friends that spans the globe by focusing their energy on life and human flourishing.
Relationships are at the core of these communities, followed closely by working with your hands on various endeavors.
The deskilling which has ravaged the American workforce never touched these people.
Most are sitting on huge piles of capital wealth, though their simple lifestyles generally avoid too much ostentation.
The world has nothing to say to them for the most part, because they follow Jesus and do not stir up unnecessary trouble.
In this, they are doing inestimable damage which the politicians have largely ignored.
Even with their technology and their three-letter agencies, they are still vulnerable.
In fact, if you follow the logic, they have already lost.
