I've actually been there fairly recently.
We were mostly in Marrakesh which is a very beautiful city and interesting from a western perspective. However it was kinda ruined by all the beggars and shitty Africans trying to sell you fake shit.
The mosque in Casablanca is a sight to see desu.

A few problems with the place, the government appreciate tourist more than the native population, i felt very safe as a tourist because of the security (tho automatic weapons was a bit of an overkill).

You can live there super cheap and the food is great, but it kinda becomes boring after a while. The natives will try to trick you into spending a fucking ton of items that is worth literally nothing.

Going there french is an absolute must to know because speaking English doesn't get you very far. Frustrating when you try to get out a fucked situation the natives try to put you in to trick you out of money.

In all fairness it's a much better country that the shitholes that the rest of Africa has.

I went there when was little but i don't remember very much bc i was more concerned vomiting and with headaches due to seasickness boat trip since the boat had no stabilizers. Everywhere there were people trying to sell stuff like bongs, carpets and others.
