>noble savior of US economy

Protip, pinkie:
Conservatives expect people to haul their own freight. GM and Chrysler made poor decisions, and Obama paid-off their gambling debts with other people's money. There was nothing noble in any of that.

MAGA!

King Nigger should be worried about being greeted with a pair of handcuffs the next time he sets foot on U.S. soil, you kike shill. Debbie Wasserman Shultz is about to be indicted, too.

Today is August 20th 2017. He was Voted in November 8, 2016. Less that three months from now.

If give you're talking about his actual Inauguration it was still on January 20, 2017. Which is 5 months from now. and he still pedal back on all of his promises and hasn't done anything. Name one thing he has done.
>>
>>138327889
>Obama saved America from another great depression with the auto bailout within a year of his Presidency.

Incorrect. Obama put one financial crisis and moved it forward a century. In 150 - 200 years, all those buried cars -with most parts functional at time of "death"- will start to leech their toxic chems into our water supply.

Additionally, it was by and large, an environmental disaster with little benefit. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Car_Allowance_Rebate_System#Environmental_effects

Finally, per https://www.thefiscaltimes.com/Columns/2012/10/17/Obamas-Auto-Bailout-Was-Really-a-Hefty-Union-Payoff
>CBO projects that handouts to Wall Street firms will ultimately net the government a cool $11 billion profit. They say the auto industry, on the other hand, will never pay back taxpayers. According to the congressional bean counters, $20 billion is gone for good.

>Where did that money go? Mainly, it went to paying off debts owed by GM and Chrysler, and – in an historic distortion of our bankruptcy proceedings – to securing the pensions and livelihoods of UAW workers. It turns out the real debt was that of Mr. Obama to organized labor, which had ponied up some $400 million to help him defeat John McCain.

PS- I hate to remind you, but we didn't have the choice of Trump vs Obama. We didn't even have the choice between Trump and Clinton. Clinton made sure we didn't really see our properly elected choices: Trump vs Sanders.

So, when will Clintkins admit *their* mistake voting for that oppressive cunt?
>>
>>138330979
The presidency does not begin before the inauguration, you retard. There is no argument to be made for that.
There's a massive fucking difference between 12 months and 7 months.

Not that I care, the entire American political system is fucked from top to bottom. America is never going to get a president that is both good and effectual, because the system won't allow it.
>>
>>138331469
So he has been in office for 7 months, there are 5 months left until a complete year. Still nothing has been done.

And watch it with your flag, you're posting under.

Gorsuch, so eat shit. Plus, he's agreed to sign any bill that hits his desk. GOP are simply incompetent top to bottom.

I'm not a huge Trump fan, but he's all right so far, especially given his own party isn't giving him a damned bit of help.

> "saved America" by expanding our national debt by trillions of dollars and normalizing huge, Chicago-style budget deficits.
Obama literally walked America closer to its future collapse. He was a bread and circuses president who gave out free stuff to businesses and poor people while talking a big game.
>>
>>138327889
>said he wanted to repeal the Patriot Act
>liberals acted like it was a republican Congress being butthurt that prevented Obama from achieving this
>then Obama passes like three executive orders at the very end of his term bypassing congressional authority
>meanwhile the population is under more surveillance than they've ever been before

I mean, I don't pin the blame entirely on him since this situation benefits whoever's in power, regardless of party, but he still lied through his teeth about something that's a pretty fucking big deal.

Berating his web audience for making legalization the top question in the first web address, when they were the people he had to thank 100% for getting him elected in the first place, was a pretty dick move, too.
>>
>>138330411
Fuck me, people in other parts of the world actually believe this economy has been fixed?
>>
>>138330411
No retard. It didn't fix the economy. Best you can argue is that it saved us from a bigger downward crash, but it still put the nuts of smaller suppliers in a fucking vise. Manufacturing is still being outsourced. Give it five to ten years, and the automakers are gonna have a huge drop in their workforce, that they will have to spend heavily to recover. Mark my fucking words.
>>
>>138327889
Im a Obama fan, but no it didnt fix the american economy, any focus on Manufacturing will not fix the american economy. America is no longer a manufacturing economy its a service economy.

>Obama saved America from another great depression with the auto bailout within a year of his Presidency
No one should forget that the Republicans started pushing back against bailout and Obama's economic stimulus initiative despite being in favor of using federal money to defibrelate the economy and stop the financial crash when Bush proposed it (which every non-shill economist recommended doing).

Instead, once Obama got elected with high approval rating, in contrast to outgoing Bush's abysmal approval ratings, congressional Republicans immediately began pushing back on ideological (not pragmatic) grounds on every one of the policy proposals Obama advocated. And so the cry of Obama the divider was born. Time and again in his first two years, Obama called on republican congressional leaders to meet with him so they could find a bipartisan way forward on issues. Republicans in many cases didn't even respond to the requests, and turned around to give press conferences that Obama was cutting them out of the legislative process. In the end, I think the Republicans won the messaging war. Most people will remember Obama as being divisive. But he was the object of division more than its agent

Do-hohohoho, you are wasting your breath. After the election /pol/ was invaded by the likes of T_D and is currently occupied primarily by dick-suckers who don't even know who Ron Paul is.

While I was not a fan of lots of Obama's positions (Which were very conservative for some commie liberal) the guy was a smart man and honestly wanted to work to better america. That why he took republican created tools to try and get them to work with him like the baleout and the ACA.

Yeah I'm done with this troll thread

Bailouts shouldn't exist
The ceos responsible for crimes should be jailed and have their assets seized and placed into charity (see Enron etc)
Fuck off
>>
>>138337709
The reason we have to have bailouts is because the american people wont let the government support the 10s of thousands that would have been laid off.

Massive jump in unemployment right there would have shock-waves though the economy probably triggering a massive depression.

If the goverment had let them fail then used the money to support the workers that lost jobs until new industries filled the void we could have skipped the bailout, but that wasn't going to happen because "No unemployed mooch is going to get my tax dollars!"

>>138331197

Im sorry, but Sanders had no shot at the primaries. He was basically an unknown outside of the major cities of the south and all southern democrats outside of major cities voted for Hilary.

In my home county in Tennessee Sanders only got 15 of the around 2000 democrat primary votes and one was mine.

Trump brought back the Confederacy and Nazi Germany. Now there are daily riots and millions of Blacks die everyday.
