Assuming you don't accept Christian principles or a greater good then the question should still be asked: can virtues be abstracted onto groups?

my understanding is that the only reason shit like gay/black pride is okay, while white pride is frowned upon, is because being straight/white is the "default" in the US, and that historically (and even nowadays) society and culture have told these groups that it's bad to be gay/black/whatever marginalized group. pride movements are meant to emphasize that there's nothing wrong with belonging to one of those demographics, not that other demographics are inferior, which is (like it or not) the message associated with white pride movements. you can point to the odd SJW that spouts shit about how whites are awful, blacks/gays are better, etc, but when it comes down to it, they're such a small percentage that they can be written off as loonies just as easily as white supremacists.

I've been trying to explain this, anon. Once upon a time, people built their identity on their religion. "I'm a Christian, not a Pagan/Satanist/Jew".
