It's one thing to care about immigrants. It's another thing to want more immigrants at all costs. It is difficult, but possible to care for those who are there while being wary of the dangers that it may present and working to stem and perhaps reverse the flow. Of course, if you have too many looking to work against that it is simply not possible, sad as it may be.
It does make me wonder, though. If culture solvency is something the church is working towards or accepting of, what do they think the possibility of absolution is? Are they willing to reduce their faith to a personal level belief system? If so, do they believe they have the methods to do good under that system?
