If civil war comes first it will start WW3, which will be fought in all western countries around the world.

You'll hear a lot of people say that we will just starve the cities out, but basically all liberal cities have ports and Merkel would be more than happy to ship over barges full of food and New Europeans with assault rifles. We actually would need our Navy and Air Force to be mostly intact and on our side, not to fight against the left but to fight against the rest of the world who would come to invade us.
