I would argue "self-help" is a superior calling. Given that most of what he suggests is logical and things I have already done long ago I don't particularly see him as being malevolent. Making money while providing a service is only natural as the more money the easier it is to solve many complex problems. If I was in his situation I would want to make sure I'm sitting on a good amount of money to survive legal or other catestrophes that could come his way from how he is behaving.
