Depends on how the economy is 10 years from now
Right now the political climate is moving toward that. The whole alt right/alt left dichotomy will be solidified and both groups will start having street battles more organized than the chaos at Charlottesville. It'll only become more partisan as more and more moderates either take sides or drop out completely. And judging by how the entire establishment responded to Trump not only when he announced but when he won, nothing's gonna change from the other side
This wouldn't just be white nationalists though, this will include Trump supporters. The media called 20 people waving flags around an Indian guy running for Congress a white supremacy rally, or "free speech" rally (they actually put quotes around them)
The difference between Weimar Germany and the US now is that the economy here is much more stable than the ruinous Weimar one. People have no reason to take to the streets to fight for a leader who wants to radically change the state of society. People are too comfortable and have too much to lose.

Maybe if we have an economic collapse, but all the reform since the Depression has been to keep a stable economy. If it crashes hard, and tensions keep getting higher, its possible we could have some sort of wide spread far-right OR far-left movements get elected into offices.
Look at Wiemar Germany

What about 1 trillion debt?
>>138295586
Debt means nothing if no one is collecting and you owe most of it to yourself.
If these circumstances change, it could be a catalyst for an economic happening. As it is now though, it means basically nothing.

What kind of circumstances?
